What is CEIAG?                  

Our Character and Opportunities curriculum embeds work related learning/CEAIG, through years 7 -11, playing an integral role in preparing young people for opportunities, responsibilities and experience of life. It helps young people make decisions and manage transitions as learners and workers. It is vital that all 11-16 year olds have the knowledge and skills they need to make informed choices for their future as they transition to post 16 education.

At Oasis Academy Brightstowe we are committed to providing a planned programme of CEIAG for all students in Years 7-11, in partnership with outside agencies such as WON (Western outreach Network), Colleges, 6th Forms, Apprenticeship providers, Universities and local businesses.  Our aim is to raise student aspirations and capitalise on the opportunities available to them. Oasis Academy Brightstowe has a strong record of accomplishment with its CEIAG programme, as demonstrated by its excellent 'destination' data, which we are required to monitor as part of our CEIAG policy.
