Ofsted Rates Brightstowe ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’ in All Categories

Oasis Academy Brightstowe students were recently provided with a rare treat when Olympic Hopeful Dai Greene visited the school. Dai is the reigning World, European, Commonwealth and European Cup 400m Hurdle Champion. His visit to the Academy was made possible by the Wells Sports Foundation’s Athletes 4 Schools programme.

Recently a group of Year 6 students from Sea Mills Primary made a special visit to Oasis Academy Brightstowe. They were participating in a special Science Day event which focused on our solar system.

It is a fact: the world is getting smaller. The speed and ease of travel, along with new technologies have created a global village in which individuals and business communicate with people all over the world on a regular basis.

Last week students of Oasis Academy Brightstowe organised a variety of events to raise money for Sports Relief. As a result of their efforts, more than £150.00 was raised.
