As well as serving students, the Academy aims to be a hub for the entire community.
Oasis Academy Brightstowe has a dedicated team who are working to create 'The Hub', by developing a network of partnerships with community groups, churches, youth workers and many other local organisations for the enrichment of the Academy community and beyond.
Within this, 'The Hub' will also offer volunteering opportunities and work towards offering the use of Academy facilities to the wider community for adult education classes, sports groups and further community liason.
SCHOOLS PLUS
One new initiative Oasis Academy Brightstowe has recently undertaken involves getting an organisation called Schools Plus which will make the Academy facilities available to the community when school is not in session.
