Since the Academy opened, GCSE results have improved year on year.
In 2010, every single year 11 student gained at least one GCSE or equivalent qualification at grade A*-C. This is ABOVE the national average.
More than two thirds of all year 11 pupils gained 5 GCSE or equivalent qualifications at grade A*-C in the summer 2010 session.
As a result of these amazing achievements, in February 2011, Oasis Academy Brightstowe was recognised by the SSAT (Specialist Schools and Academies Trust) as one of the most improved schools in the country.
