The Government is running a Home Access initiative to help low-income families obtain a computer and/or internet access at home. If you want to check to see if you are eligible, please download the following PDF: Eligibility Criteria for Home Access
Eligible families have two options:
EITHER, from Thursday 7th January 2010apply in person via the following link: www.e-learningfoundation.com/home-access or ring directly to request an application pack on 0333 200 1005.
OR from March 2010, Oasis Academy Brightstowe will be able to apply on the family’s behalf. Any parents wishing to do this should email sallyganner@oasisbrightstowe.org or telephone the Academy on 0117 353 2600.
Families choosing to apply personally will be provided with a one-off payment card and PIN number following a successful application. They then take this card to one of a number of approved suppliers, such as Comet, and use the grant pre-loaded to pay for the FULL COST of an approved computer, internet access for a year, or both.
