On Weds 18th November the Brightstowe netball team took part in the national Academies Netball Cup and gave an impressive performance.
The tournament involved 21 Academies from across the UK who made up 7 leagues of teams. The Brightstowe girls won three games out of the six and put up a good fight.
Head of PE, Karl Robottom said: "The team were a credit to our Academy. They worked hard in all six games and dealt with both victory and defeat with a great deal of maturity. They would have progressed to the finals, but only narrowly missed out on the necessary points."
Students involved were:
Beth Nichols, Kelly Jukes Longford, Lek Chaiwas, Chloe Wright, Bianca James, Lauren Davies, Laura Brimson, Ellie Pennell, Michaela Ballard, Sophie Franklin, Carleah Hooper.

V Harefield Academy - Won 6 -1
