‘Bristol in Bloom is a part of the national ‘RHS Britain in Bloom’ environmental campaign that encourages communities to come together and appreciate their local green spaces.
The Children’s Painting Competition challenged students to produce paintings that were inspired by the mantra ‘Dig It, Grow It, Cook It and Eat It’, and many Academy students took part alongside pupils from other local schools.
Of all the Year 9 students that submitted paintings, Kerry Ballard and Toni Parker came in third and second place respectively.
Ashley Baines was the overall winner in the 12-16 age category and received a £50 WHSmith voucher and was entered into the national level of the competition where his picture will go up against winners from across the country! Watch this space!

Aye mate! And welcome to limbo! Problem: I have no idea what page you're trying to work on. You need to define a body ID in the template, then turn on the necessary rows and columns in layout.css. Arrrrgh!
