We will be seeing the majority of them again in September when we will be working hard to build upon the considerable success already achieved in the first year of our Academy, but our GCSE students have now left us for good to embark on the next chapter in their lives.
The Academy had the chance to say a formal ‘good-bye’ at the Year 11 prom, which took place at Leigh Court Mansion on Friday 3rd July on a beautiful summers evening and was a thoroughly enjoyable night.
There was a fantastic range of outfits and ostentatious modes of transport – one group of parents dressed up as the cast of Scooby Doo to escort the young people to the ‘do’ and some students arrived in a fire engine!
