Year 11 students at Oasis Academy Brightstowe are celebrating the achievement of early GCSE results in maths. Almost half of the Year 11 students have already obtained the necessary Maths grades after testing early last November. Of the students who tested early, 100% of EAL students achieved passing scores in Maths. The EAL students include a Chinese student, a Turkish student and two Polish students.
There was a collective groan from the assembled crowd of Year 8 students as they watched one of their own drop the large man with a well-placed kick to the groin. Dik Chance is the Executive Director of FAST Defence, is a programme that trains individuals how to deal with real-life threatening situations.
